A Rigorous Selection Process

Being included on this list represents a significant achievement for our team. The Cleantech 50 to Watch was compiled through an extensive evaluation of over 2,300 nominations from 58 countries, followed by assessment from a panel of 34 global experts including leading investors and multinational corporations.

NxLite was highlighted in the Materials & Chemicals category for our "thermally and optically smart Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for windows to control heat and light emission." The recognition specifically notes how our technology provides an innovative approach to energy efficiency in buildings and beyond.

Deep Tech Innovation Making an Impact

According to the Cleantech Group's report, the list shows a notable increase in deep tech innovations targeting difficult-to-decarbonize sectors. With buildings accounting for nearly 40% of global carbon emissions, our coating technology represents a scalable solution for both new construction and retrofits.

Although the report came out in late 2024, NxLite has wasted little time in 2025 to substantiate the recognition by entering into collaborations with some of the world's largest brands.
