Jose Nunez-Regueiro serves as the Chief Technology Officer at NxLite. As an accomplished technologist and business strategist, Nunez-Regueiro brings extensive experience in building and leading world-class R&D functions that drive innovation and growth.

Since joining NxLite in 2023, Nunez-Regueiro has established and managed the R&D function from the ground up. Under his leadership, the team has developed unique disruptive technologies resulting in 8 key patents currently in various stages of development.

Prior to NxLite, Nunez-Regueiro held leadership positions at LuxWall, Inc. as CTO, AGP eGlass as R&D Director, Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope as Vice President of R&D, and spent 14 years at Guardian Industries where he developed industry-leading coatings that now represent 80% of Guardian's global coating sales.

Nunez-Regueiro holds a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester and a BS in Physics from Zulia State University, Venezuela. He has enhanced his leadership capabilities through executive education at MIT Sloan, Kellogg School of Management, Caltech, and Harvard University.
